Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Notorious"?
I heard a tiny meow when I was outside. It came from across the fence in my neighbor's yard. There she was, sitting on a tree stump, crying in my direction. She was one of the strays I would put food out for each day. I spoke to her and she responded in a tiny little voice. When she came around to eat again, I stayed near and spoke to her, and after a few days I stroked her back and she didn't pull away.

Did I mention she would bring me gifts? I often would find a mouse left at the door. I watched for her every day and started to pick her up and cuddle her a bit and she purred. My heart melted when I realized how much she craved affection.

Little by little she began to spend more time in the house and became friendly with Bernie, the little stray we rescued two years ago. Finally, she moved in for good.

Prettigirl is a feisty little cat. She still wants to go out a bit each day. She is full of energy and races around the house chasing a toy or nothing at all. She has a favorite pink, fuzzy mouse and her squirrel on a stick is also great fun for her.

The reason I rescued her needs no explaining. However, Prettigirl remains notorious for her insistence for independence. She makes her wishes known to me and takes no nonsense from our two other cats.

Prettigirl is welcomed and loved by the whole family.
