Rules

This contest is open to any US resident 18 years or older. The contest is for animals that have been rescued or adopted. You may enter a photo of a pet that has passed on.

The minimum donation for entering a submission is $5 per photo. You may enter as many photos as you desire (no collages) but each is subject to the $5.00 donation.

All entries are required to list:

• Animals Name and Age
• Where they live
• Who is their Person
• Animal rescue organization (if not 4Life Animal Rescue aka 4Life)
• What would your pet say is the most fun and interesting thing about them (maximum 100 words)

Your photo may contain more than one animal however, it is highly desired that photos focus on one pet only. If more than one is entered, please note this word limitation

People are not allowed in your photo, though the image may contain another companion pet in addition to the featured pet. It is up to the discretion of 4Life to reject photos.

You may designate another rescue organization other than 4Life to receive a portion of the net revenue generated by this contest. Include the name of the organization on the submission form. At the end of the contest, we will donate 30% as follows to the designated recipients named by the winning entrants:

• 1st place: 15%
• 2nd place: 7.5%
• 3rd place: 7.5%

If no rescue is designated, 4Life will be automatically designated. 4Life will receive the balance of the funds generated by this contest other than those rescues designated by the Top 3 winners. If no rescue is designated, 4Life will automatically be designated.

Entries may be submitted from opening of contest on August 1, 2016 PDT until September 4, 2016 AT 8:00 p.m. PDT.

• Photos need to be in a JPEG, JPG, PNG or GIF format, although JPEG/JPG is the preferred form. Ideally, the original photo should be no smaller than 3648 pixels X 2736 pixels @ 72 dpi, but preferably 300 dpi
• No videos
• Photos need to be submitted via the contest website submission form. Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies.
• All submitted photos are subject to review by 4Life for inappropriate /offensive content.
• Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online contest gallery and may be shared out on 4Life website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram Pages.
• All entries must be the original work of the entrant. You must own the copyright to the photograph
• Photos must either feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet's owner to submit their pet's image.
• We cannot accept copyrighted professional photos or any photos that have been digitally manipulated or altered.
• Once entered, photos become the property of 4Life and may be used for online, print, and marketing purposes.

We reserve the right to decline publication of any photography for any reason.


Each vote is $1 and counts for 1 vote and sold in blocks of $5. There is no limit to the number of votes you may cast, but you must cast a minimum of 5 votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5. You may vote for your own photo and you may spread your votes across multiple pets. There is no limit to the amount of votes you can cast Contest payments are made online through a secure site.

All votes will be periodically tabulated and displayed on the contest website. Due to the limitations of our computer tabulating system, there can be up to a 15-minute delay between when a donation is received/recorded and when it is reflected in the leaderboard. All votes received before 8:00 PDT on September 4^th will be honored. The leaderboard results are official. playing the most recent tabulations.


The top vote winner at the conclusion of the contest will become the Calendar Cover Pet on the 4Life Animal Rescue 2017 Bodacious Babes Pet Calendar. The next 12 top vote recipients will become the 4Life Animal Rescue Calendar Pet for each calendar month between January 2017-December 2017. We will do our best to include all the entries on the calendar, but at minimum, the top 50 photo winners (excluding the 13 winners) will be featured throughout the calendar with thumbnail photos. Placement location is at the sole discretion of 4Life.

Contest winners may need to re-submit their photo to 4Life as a high resolution (large file), print quality image. Ideally, the original photo should be no smaller than 3648 pixels X 2736 pixels @ 72 dpi, but preferably 300 dpi. If the photo is too small, it will be disqualified for use in the calendar due to printing constraints or a new photograph will be required and must be delivered to 4Life within 2 weeks after calendar close.


Donations are non-refundable and fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. 4Life Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization By participating in this contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless 4Life and each of their officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize.

The contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

4Life reserves the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice.
