My Pet's Story
Bunny (aka Piglet) was adopted from Abandoned Pet Rescue on September 4, 2022. Bunny is a charismatic Boston Chi-Weenie Zhu who quickly asserted herself as the Branch Manager of Elm Terrace. She's the boss of her two rescue dogs, Pixie and Darby, and four rescue cats, Milo, Comet, Annabelle, and Frankie.

Bunny's favorite activities are donut eating contests, playing fetch, protecting the family from anyone who dares to walk by the house, and sleeping in.

This past January Bunny had to have life-saving spine surgery. We learned that because of Bunny's breed mix and some unfortunate genetic degeneration, she's prone to intervertebral disc disease. Her tenacity for life (and her insatiable love of food) allowed her to make a quicker-than-predicted recovery, and she impressed the entire surgical team with her get-up-and-go attitude.

We don't know Bunny's history or why her fur is missing from her face or why one ear flops over, but what we do know is that she loves us fiercely, and we love her just as much.
