A little about me...
Flora came in to ABESR from an upsetting neglect situation. The hope was to rehabilitate her and get her healthy enough to adopt out to a loving, forever home. Unfortunately, from the years without medical care, she was diagnosed with metastatic mammary cancer that had spread to her lungs. Flora was very lucky to live out her final months in a loving, hospice-foster home thanks to ABESR. Flora passed peacefully at the end of July surrounded by more love than she could ever need.
Flora did not have to experience pain and neglect. She could have lived a long healthy life if she received the medical and emotional care that a dog deserves. Donating to ABESR, directly impacts the setters we can save and rehabilitate to loving homes.
