A little about me...
Ember came to us from Greece after A&B senior Jed went on ahead to heaven. Soon after her arrival we unexpectedly had to send our 9 year old setter Jesse to heaven as well. It was such a very difficult time for us. Jesse loved his senior setters and would always check on each one. It is how he aquired his nick name 'medicine man'. We loved Ember's name because it was significant in the losses we had to endure, she kept the embers of love burning. Ember lived a very hard life in Greece and we believe she needed us as much as we needed her. A few weeks after we adopted her she grew a large tumor on her leg, as well as a very bad infection. The cancer was localized and our wonderful vet did get all the margins, as well as all the infection. Today Ember is a very happy senior girl and living her very best life with us. We are so incredibly grateful to A&B for blessing us with these beautiful senior souls. Please vote for our beautiful little girl and support a wonderful organization.
