Pet's Story or Bio
We fell in love with Willow the first time we met her at AGPR (2017). Some of her silly antics and "come hither" head movements told us that she had to have some husky in her. As previous husky owners, we knew we'd be smart to do some obedience training with her. Off we went to classes! She loved them, but in pure Pyr fashion, she thought doing something right ten times in a row was absolutely ridiculous. So, three times and then she laid down, crossed her paws and put her head down. Lucky for us, the trainer was well acquainted with Pyrs and explained to the class that Willow was "special".

Willow loves her daily walks, laying down up in the front corner of our backyard (next to the neighbor who gives her treats), playing with her soft squeaky toys, and checking her snuffle mat for hidden treats. But, most of all, Willow LOVES HER MEAL TIME!

Our pretty girl tries hard to maintain her girlish figure so she can grace the pages of the AGPR Calendar!

P.S. DNA test showed Willow is 5/8 Pyr, 1/4 Husky and 1/8 "wild dog". We believe those results are very accurate!
