Pet's Story or Bio
Roman (fka “Hickory” at AGPR) was adopted from AGPR in May 2020 and has been stealing hearts and chasing wildlife ever since. He’s the talk of the town everywhere he goes. Roman loves his many “pyr pits”, letting his family and the whole neighborhood know whenever deliveries have arrived, going for walks just about everywhere (especially wooded trails), car rides with windows down and boat rides on the Chesapeake Bay. He’s the kindest soul and gentle giant, always watching over his family with those beautiful eyes, completely independent but never too far away from a milkbone or belly rub. He brings such joy to our family and everyone he meets. We owe it all to the incredible team at AGPR for connecting us to this special boy and finding homes for all the other Great Pyrenees.
