A little about me...
Merlin deserves to be nominated as Ales for Tails Spokescat for 2023. He was a stray cat that became a part of our family this year. With a badly injured leg from an animal attack, I befriended him and was able to catch him and take him to my vet. He was in dire need of medical attention due to his leg injury, was riddled with fleas, intestinal worms, not neutered or microchipped. I could tell he was eating out of garbage because he would eat anything he could get his paws on. Since I have three other cats in my home, I made a cat infirmary on my front porch to isolate him so he could be nursed back to health. I cared for him for 2 months, taking him to multiple vet appointments for follow ups. The Spay Illinois Clinic in Lisle, IL. gave him his shots, microchip, and neutering after he had recovered from all his medical issues. He is now healthy. I fell in love with him because he is sweet and gentle, as well as he acclimated well with my other male cats. We had to pick a special name to suit him because he has a distinct "M" on his forehead, is very vocal and meows all the time. My husband loves the TV show Merlin on Netflix, so now he is "Merlin the Meowgician." He would make the "purrfect" spokescat for the Miskatonic Westcoast Wizard beer can this fall. Thank you.
