Kano

A little about me...
Kano is 3 years old, and was adopted from ADOPT Naperville when he was 3 months old after his previous owner surrendered him. His parents hit the jackpot when they were chosen as his forever family!

Being a big German Shepherd, people tend to be scared of him at first— little do they know he is the goofiest guy around. Kano is a total klutz and often steps on your feet and knocks things over with his big tail when he is excited. He loves butt scratches and playing tug (even when it’s not a tug toy)!

Kano has also been an A+ foster brother when his parents decided to foster a pup in 2021 and again in 2022. He is the best at showing the foster pups that they are safe and on the road to the best life. He is even still best friends with one of his foster brothers because Kano convinced his Grandma and Grandpa to adopt him! We call this a mini foster fail.

Kano is a true “brew dog”, tagging along with his parents to their brewery adventures anytime he can.

Kano would be honored to be the 2023 Ales for Tails Spokesdog, as he recognizes that the work Spay Illinois does to both educate & provide owners and shelters with resources to be successful is extremely important. Kano wishes all other other dogs and cats good luck!
