I'm sitting here watching my human as she crochets mats for other cats like me. I plan on stealing her yarn later but for now I'm content sitting here purring away.

It wasn't always like this. I got off to a tough start. My brothers and sisters weren't so lucky. We were left alone. Abandoned on a roadside. I suffered a broken hip. I didn't think I'd ever walk right. My brothers and sisters didn't survive.

I just remember waking up at the Rutherford Animal Hospital. After I started feeling better there put me in the waiting room. That's where I met my human. She was bringing in her goofy beagle for a checkup. "Psst! Dog!" I called out. "Help me get outa here and we'll rule those humans the right way." Sure enough that dog pulled her human over to me. I did my thing -- meowing and purring. Next thing you know I'm on my way home with my new humans.
