About My Cat
Woody's mom was raising her family in a woodpile in Eastern Washington when the property owner's dog spooked them. Woody's mom and two tortie sisters ran to safety, but little Woody was left behind. Fortunately, the property owner was a veterinarian. She rescued Woody, bottle fed him for several days, then took him to MEOW Cat Rescue in Kirkland where he went into foster care. We got to watch his antics (along with this six black house panther step-siblings) on Christine's Kitten Cam and fell in love with the sweet, tenacious, buff tabby! (Artist's statement: This photo was taken the day we brought Woody home. We were all getting to know each other and Woody was just saying hello to Trudi, his new mom.)
