I have a standing tradition with one of my longest best friends, that we try to see each other at least once a month. We met before I was ever really focused on photography and my passion for it has only grown thanks to her. We have a running joke that herons are her spirit animal. No joke: every time without fail we will see at least one, no matter the season.
