We have had a small herd of deer living in our horse pastures, next to the house for many years. One day as I was inspecting the pastures I came across this Fawn, in one of our pastures snoozing away, the Doe had hidden baby there, at some point for the day, as she wandered off to go eat. We always quietly and slow inspect our pastures, in the Spring, before the horses are allowed to be let out for grazing, if a baby is located that pastures is out of bounds till mama returns for her Fawn.
