Hello!! This is Taco, or formerly known as Grace! We got her from the West Vancouver branch in September 2015... we were looking for an older cat but her sad little kitten face was hiding and staring at us from inside her perch (she was five months old)... we were told she wasn't very friendly or sociable like we had described our other cat as, and for a whole month she hid from us under the couch and would only approach us if we were laying down... we were so worried!!! But then she started coming around... just for a horrible medical emergency to strike!!! She had THREE rectal prolapses in the span of a month which resulted in 3 months of vet visits, stitches, and finally a surgery.... after all that we thought she was going to begin to hide again but that didn't happen!! She became more and more loving as the ordeal went on and now she is the sweetest, cuddliest and most loving cat I have ever owned. She will headbutt you until you let her under the covers with you, lay right on top of you every morning, greets you at the door after a long day with her signature screech/meow and is just the sweetest ball of love there ever was. I am so happy we chose her after all -even if she ended up being the most expensive cat we've had haha! She's the cutest, saddest looking sweetheart and we really hope she finds a place in the calendar!
