Pet's Story or Bio
Lloyd was adopted when I was working at the local shelter. He came in as a stray, but while doing his behavior evaluation I named him Lloyd after Lloyd Christmas because he was the dumbest dog I had ever met.

He ended up staying at the shelter for some time before being adoptable due to heartworm treatment. Finally Lloyd was adopted only to be returned two days later. After another adoption and return within a week, his outlook at the shelter was not so great. I had a feeling about him so that is when he came home with me to meet my resident dog. They hit it off so well that he never left!

Turns out this boy is a medical nightmare as he has EXTENSIVE allergy problems but he doesn't let it get him down! After 5 years and many, many visits to the dermatologist, we're back to his homeostasis so all he has to worry about is getting excited for cuddles, treats, walks, throwing toys around, avoiding the rain, snow, cold, and any other adverse weather conditions, refusing to learn shake but knowing speak really really well, and following his mom around wherever she goes!
