Pet's Story or Bio
Kara was rescued by Animal Friends during a humane investigations case. She came into the shelter with 31 other dogs in November of 2019. Due to the pandemic their case was delayed for almost 2 years, the dogs were finally able to be adopted out in May of 2021. Luckily Kara was fostered by a loving woman named Rose who was a volunteer, and she spent her vacations here with me and my other dogs when Rose was away. I fell in love with her the 1st time she spent a week with us and even if she was only supposed to be here a week we sometimes stretched it into 2 or 3. When it was time for Kara to be put up for adoption her foster mom did not want such a young puppy. I however had truly lost my mind and decided that she needed to be here with us. Since coming to live with us Kara has had many adventures. She has been in the local newspaper 3 times, she has gone on vacations with her favorite aunt, she loves car rides and ice cream. Kara her brother Donnie and her sister Miss Maples are a fabulous trio they love each other very much and hang out and sleep together all the time.She loves to get dressed up and doesn't mind putting on her pearls for the right occasion.
