Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Rylee from a local shelter 5 years ago. She was dumped at a shelter because “her family moved”, but she had urinary incontinence, arthritis and mobility issues. We learned after taking her to the vet, that she had suffered major head trauma, likely from a beating or beatings and that her teeth showed damage consistent with her trying to chew her way out of a kennel. We had just lost our 14 yr old heeler and wanted to adopt a senior dog closer to our surviving dog’s age. Rylee has been a dream. She is a silly girl and always the life of the party. With love and proper care, she has thrived.
