Hero is one of BDRA's miracle dogs. Two weeks after coming into BDRA foster care in August 2014, he became deathly ill with a twisted spleen, blackened intestines and then went directly into kidney failure. After three months of sickness, he received a clean bill of health and has remained healthy! Hero is 4 years old, is blind in one eye and has about 25% vision in the other eye. Hero can run like the wind in our backyard knowing where each tree, lawn chairs, firepit and kids toys are. He owns the backyard and he knows it!
