Here's the Lowdown

Once you've submitted your photo, it will appear in the online gallery and be open to voting by the public. Entries dropped off in person or sent by mail will appear online within 48 hours of receipt.
ALL eligible photo submissions will appear in the calendar, either as inset squares on the monthly calendar pages or in the collage pages.
The top 3 vote-getters will be used as separate full-page, featured monthly pets (month to be determined) in the 2018 calendar, and will also receive other prizes as indicated on our Prizes page.

Votes are $1 each with a minimum of $5 for five votes. All votes are tax deductible.
Votes will be tabulated and displayed online.

Photo Requirements

Photos of cats, dogs, horses, farm animals, small mammals, and birds are accepted. Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from the Cheyenne Animal Shelter to be eligible to enter this contest.
To be considered as a featured monthly pet, all cats or dogs in your photo MUST be wearing tags and collars.
If we love your photo but your pet has no collar and tag, we will Photoshop them in. Your photo may contain more than one pet.
Please try not to include people in your photo, only pets.
We cannot accept Polaroid or poor-quality photos.
All photos must be in color.
Once entered, all photos become the property of the Cheyenne Animal Shelter to be used for any and all print and marketing purposes.

The Fine Print

Entries can be submitted online, by mail or in person. Entries submitted online must be processed on or before July 31, 2017 at 5:00p.m. M.D.T. Entries submitted by mail or dropped off in person at 800 Southwest Drive must be received no later than July 31, 2017 at 1 p.m.
Please include with your photo submission a note with your name, phone number and your pet's name attached to the back of your photo. Do not write directly on the photo.
Photos will not be returned and become property of the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
The top three winners will be contacted directly by Sue Castaneda to confirm submitted information.
We estimate the value received per entry fee is $15. Therefore, of your $25 entry fee, $10 may be considered a tax-deductible donation.
