Our son was terribly allergic to cats so we waited until he was 8 years old to try to adopt, but explained to him that there were no promises - if he had allergies the cat would have to go back to the Shelter. We monitored the Shelter website and saw Cookie's photo and fell in love! We went to the Shelter on Valentines Day last year and ran to her cage and took her home. NO ALLERGIES! Thank you to the Shelter staff who were so caring and helpful. Cookie is the best cat, and even plays fetch with bottle caps like a puppy. She is the Valentines Day cat miracle!
