Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Sammie (right) when she was about 8 weeks old from the Washington Humane Society in 2002. She is now 15 years young and still acts like a puppy! Warm and cuddly, she loves to give kisses and chase after squirrels! After our other adoptee Murphy passed away after a long battle with cancer last January, we weren’t sure if we wanted to adopt again. But then we met Patches (left) last summer at AWLA. Found as a stray in Page County last January, her sweet personality and goofy antics won us over almost immediately. She has added love, affection and comic relief to our family. She is also a constant companion and occasional annoyance to Sammie.
