Samaritan Medical Center is the official Children’s Miracle Network Hospital of Northern New York, to include Jefferson, St. Lawrence, and Lewis counties. The mission of Children’s Miracle Network at Samaritan is to ensure quality healthcare for children in the tri-county region. For nearly 25 years, CMN at Samaritan has raised and allocated funds toward child-centered areas of Samaritan and other healthcare organizations in the region. In addition, Samaritan is one of only five CMN Hospitals nationwide to provide direct family assistance grants to families in need due to a medical crisis. This program assists families with travel expenses and out of pocket medical costs such as bills and equipment not covered by insurance. Every single dollar raised locally is allocated back into our local community.
In its history, the Children’s Miracle Network Baby Photo Contest has raised more than $200,000 for Children’s Miracle Network at Samaritan, helping to further the mission of the organization and help hundreds of local sick and injured children. Each year families, friends, co-workers and communities band together to vote for their favorite little one all with one cause in mind, Children’s Miracle Network.
