Weeko

Tell us your pet’s story
Weeko is a Pinto Branded Mustang from the South Steens HMA. Born in 1998 she is a well built, uniquely marked girl.

She is just one of the many owner surrender horses we accept each year. Her owners faced unexpected futures of their own and wanted to know that this girl was safe and loved.

As with all new horses Weeko is currently in our training program. She started by learning basic ground manners when walking to and from the pasture, Then she learned to round pen and is now currently working on ground driving. It will be a while longer before we put a saddle on her as we allow the horses to dictate the speed at which they progress. We do not want to skip any steps or move too fast.
