Me and my wife adopted April from the Dachshund Rescue South Florida on December 24th, 2022, she was born in Puerto Rico but her and the rest of the liter needed a forever home, the very first day they posted her picture we saw her and we fell in love with her, so we decided to adopt her. In the beginning she was shy and didn’t even want to go to the other side of our bed, now she’s the one who rules the house, steals all of our shoes, plays nonstop with her cat siblings, they cuddle together and even the cats licks April’s head. One of the funny things she does is when we pet her she does a half smile and when we stop she demands more by grabbing our hands to keep going.
