Jade came to DRSF after being rescued from a lifetime in deplorable conditions. She was rushed to our Specialty Hospital where she received care for all the medical conditions she was facing. When she was stable enough to be discharged, Jade transitioned to our home to be Fostered where she was showered with love and had a chance to experience the care and comfort she had been denied for so long. Despite the love and home cooking she received, Jade was called to the bridge. She took a piece of all our community's hearts when she left, especially her Foster Dad and I, and we honor her memory by entering her in the 2024 Calendar Contest.
