Your Dog's Story or Bio
We got Josie as a puppy from a reputable breeder, Josie and her sister were the last litter the breeder was going to have. We researched dogs for a long while and decided on a mini dachshund. Growing up, we always had gotten pets from our Humane Society. I had never seen a dachshund at the Humane Society as a kid and just assumed ( we all know what happens when you assume!) there would never be a purebred dog at the HS, let alone a cute wiener dog! Well, in the last 4 years I have learned so much and my eyes have been opened. We love Josie with all our hearts but I will never buy from a breeder again, even a conscientious one. Josie is a such a love, she loves to snuggle and go for walks when it is not too hot. She is not crazy about water and loves her "teddy" as you can see.
