Maureen Stanton Schmidt comes to Puerto Rico from San Diego, California, she began drawing at an early age and went on to study art at Bay Path College in Longmedow, MA. Her professional background is in design, in addition she has worked in charcoal and collage media.  Since moving to Puerto Rico she has branched out into watercolor and acrylic paintings.
