In October 2012, I adopted my first diabetic cat from DCIN. Her owners who were divorcing were going to have BK (Bad Kitty) euthanized. Luckily DCIN stepped in to save her. When I adopted her I kept the BK but changed her name to Bella Kitty. She is the smartest, most sensitive cat and commands the respect of everyone even my pit bull Jack. In March 2013 she was diagnosed with acromegaly and I did not hesitate to take her to CSU for the serated radiation treatments (SRT) which would save her life. I have been blessed to have her for these past 4 years and hope to have her for at least another 4.
