I got Rico as a tiny kitten and he was diagnosed at 5 years old with diabetes. He just recently crossed the rainbow bridge at 15 years old. This photo was taken a couple of months ago - he loved to lay in the grass. He was a very sweet and tolerant boy who loved to purr. One of his favorite spots to be pet was his belly - he would flop over and stick his legs up in the air. And for such a big boy, he had the highest pitched little squeak of a meow!
