Shadow was abandoned by his owner in Florida when he was diagnosed in summer 2016, and he was boarded at a vet for several months while DCIN looked for a foster home. Happily, in late October, he flew to us in Colorado for fostering! Even more happily, he has not required insulin at all since he got here - a diet change did the trick! Shadow purrs the second we enter his room and talk to him, and he's a sweet, cuddly, wonderful boy. He will make someone very happy when he's adopted!
