Your Pet's Bio/Story
Parker and Sophie are both adopted. Parker has all the characteristics of an English Setter including a strong "setting" instinct. But we are not 100% sure as he was found wandering the hills near the border of Kentucky and West Virginia with no identification. There were reports from locals of seeing him for some time in the wild. We saw his picture on the internet and were drawn to his looks and story of survival. Sophie is a Cocker Spaniel and was adopted from a woman who could no longer care for her due to work requirements. We were pet-sitting for her for five days a week and the owner asked if we would take her permanently. There was no hesitation. Sophie came into our home first and taught Parker how to live a life of fun and leisure.
