Your Pet's Bio/Story
Nikki was a lost dog that we took in after being unable to locate her owners. She was originally afraid of everything. We fear that she may have been beaten as she cried out and cringed anytime she was told no in a stern voice. She eventually came to trust us and gives the best butt wiggles ever when she is happy to see you. Hence her nickname is now Wiggles. She lost her eyesight in her first eye when she was only six years old and her second one eight months later. She is now totally blind and has two prosthetic eyes due to acute onset of glaucoma from apparent genetic defects. It has been a long 18 months for her to adjust but she still insists upon and loves her daily walks and is the sweetest, bravest girl ever!
