Your Pet's QuirksS'mores is calm and cuddly. Fluffernutter is talkative and adventurous
Your Pet's Bio/StoryWe adopted S'mores (originally Luna) with Doodle (named Daisy) in April, 2021, from DDFL. Sadly, Doodle passed away in October 2022. We were devastated and could also tell S'mores missed her companion. She spent about 10 days just sitting in one corner of her habitat barely eating. We knew she needed a new companion! We watched the DDFL website for a possible friend for S'mores and found Fluffernutter (then named Autumn) at Thanksgiving that year. Fluffernutter was an owner surrender. She had lived alone, not been handled much, and had not had a great diet, so was a little overweight for a guinea pig. We were so excited to adopt her! S'mores and Fluffernutter, however, were not as excited. It took about three months of slow introduction and acclimation before they could live together. As you can see in the photo, though, now they are two happy partner piggies.
