Your Dog's Story
Before we adopted her, Gwen had spent five years--her entire life--tied to a tree. Living in such a vulnerable situation had made her protective of her food and toys, and meant that if she were woken from a deep sleep, her impulse was to protect herself. Her temperament, however, was sweet and affectionate, and she soon learned that no one would take her food or toys, and that she could sleep safely. She is our Zen dog, loving her ever expanding environment, playing with her new best friend (Owen, our very un-Zen dog!), cuddling with mom and dad, and making sure everyone who meets her adds a smile to their day.
