A little about me...
Darla came into GCCR rescue in late August 2021, having spent her life as a mill mom. She did not look good and was very frightened. Her vet check showed she had a grade 6 heart murmur and bad dental. No congestive heart failure, though. She stayed with me as a foster for a month before going to her long-term foster home. She loved being around my 4 girls, who are all Cavaliers. She especially enjoyed cuddling with Suzie. I dog sat for her when her foster family traveled and she loved coming here. Long story short, Darla made it clear that her happy place was at my home with the girls. I adopted her in May 2022. She has blossomed into a beautiful Cavalier!
