These two sweethearts were surrendered after their owner was placed in a nursing home. They had been together for 10+ years. I volunteer at our county shelter and made immediate connection with them and their story ripped me apart. Convinced my husband into fostering them. After one day, I changed the paper work from Foster to Adopter. On a happy note, I found their previous owner and a visit has taken place. There was not a dry on the property that day. Sugar (JRT) and Peewee (Rat Terrier) have been a grand addition 🐾🐶
