Prize brackets
If your entry gathers enough votes, you receive a prize! Individualized prizes for 150+ votes: your entry photo will be printed onto an item of your choice, along with the year and contest logo. Votes and prize brackets will be tallied after the contest ends (11:59pm August 7 2016). GHHS will contact winning entries for their choice of prize. (Please note, prizes are only distributed if the pet photo contest reaches its monetary goal.)

Photographer’s Choice Awards
At the grand finale, local photographers gather to judge all entry photos for 3 categories: Most Humorous, Most Expressive, and Most Artistic. Winning photos will be printed on the inside cover of the 2017 calendar, and entrants will receive an award ribbon. You know you want a special ribbon for your photo skills!
HYP AWARD
Huntsville Young Professionals has partnered with GHHS for the 2016 contest! HYP is hosting a special "Pet Trivia & Portraits Night" on August 2 at Straight to Ale 805 Campus. We've also added the "HYP Award," which will highlight the best photo from entrants aged 21-35.
