Shasta's funny faces take many forms. He was originally a death row pup brought in for biting his previous owner. I volunteered at the shelter and offered to adopt him. It was a long road, but he has become the funniest, most well behaved dogs I have ever had. This is one of the "smiles" he makes when we talk baby talk to him. It's accompanied by snappy jaws and attempts to talk to us. He is one of the most complex and intelligent dogs I have ever met. Shasta is living proof that a dog deemed "aggressive" and set to be euthanized deserves a chance for rehabilitation.
