I got a call about a German Wirehair Pointer that needed help in Iowa. Knowing that IBR Quinnie Setter's adoptive momma in Minnesota has a soft spot for GWP's, I messaged her right away. Susan made contact and soon Greta was on her way to Minnesota. Sadly Greta did test positive for heartworm and she is now in Slow Kill treatment with the Munson family. While her shelter is fundraising for her care-- I thought I should try and get some GWP fans to help one of their own. As Greta was reactive to other dogs-- the antibiotics for the underlying tick borne diseases are working already. This photo is from Greta's freedom ride to a better life and in good time a wonderful loving home. Funds raised here will be used to help with Greta's blood work and meds. GO GRETA!!
