Why is your dog a hero?
As a first responder family there are daily stresses that come with it for us. Rover really shows up all day every day always greeting us at the door with his 'ducky' in his mouth and absolutely never ending wag of the tail. He is so gentle with the kids and their friends and loves to think he protects them. On our walks if the kids fall back he will always sit and wait for them to catch up and if they run ahead he will keep up and walk next to them. He loves to play with other dogs as long as they are gentle, although he is 90lbs he is a gentle giant. He does have a couple of girlfriends he loves to kiss on our daily walks.
Rover loves to play hide and seek and uses his amazing nostrils to catch us no matter where we may be.
He truly is our hero for emotionally being their for our family and friends.
