Why is your dog a hero?
Max is a rescue. He was a very timid boy…scared of everyone and everything. This poor boy was mistreated by 4 different owners over 2 short years. Max was turned into the Boxer Rescue. He was given current shorts, then put up for adoption. Our application was ‘lost’ and Max was adopted to another family. Within a few weeks, Max was returned as he was too rambunctious. Boxers have this tendency. Max was available again! We met him, fell in love and took him to his forever home. He had to learn how to trust people, let go of anxiety and stress when he saw other people and dogs. Max went through professional dog training and it’s a daily routine to remind him that he is here to stay and loved beyond measure. Max is now a ball hoarding, toy collecting, big loving lap dog, and certainly very loyal! He just needed to be shown what the good life is all about. He is our hero!
