Why is your dog a hero?
Potato is allergic to everything. From his own name to all things nature. Although he can’t enjoy the simple pleasures of rolling in the grass or eating peanut butter, carrots, or potatoes, he is a genuine sweet Potato. He may not run into a burning building, but he’ll definitely run into your arms. He can’t pull you out of a well, but he’s strong enough to play tug-of-war for hours. His persona might not be scary to guard off bad guys, but his farts can certainly clear a room. Potato may not look like your typical hero, but isn’t that what heroes usually are? Ordinary, unassuming people (in this case dogs) doing things that no one else is willing to do. In Potato’s case, it’s about bringing genuine happiness into anyone’s day. Whether it be a stranger or a familiar face, he wants to show you that you mean something to him. With so much tension and decisiveness in the culture today, the true heroes are the ones that are accepting, loving, and judgment free. That’s Potato. He trusts everyone to a fault, wants you to feel loved, and make you smile.
