Pet's Story or Bio
Moose was found abandoned in the Mt. Hood wilderness at only three months old. HRAAD suspected he'd been surviving in the woods completely alone for about a month. When I adopted Moose, he was scared of everything. He required a ton of love, patience, and positive feedback. He's almost 2 years old now and has found his confidence through love and stability. He spends most days at work with me greeting a variety of guests, kids, and other dogs. I've had people come back to our shop multiple times just to see Moose-- calling him their therapy dog. Now his friend & family pack runs deep, because he shares his big heart with everyone he meets (he's even won over his 11 year old kitty sister). We love that he was able to transform his fear into a playful curiosity, and couldn't be more proud of him!
