Welcome to the Humane Society of Parkersburg's 2017 Pet Photo Contest! The contest is a meaningful way to celebrate your pet while supporting the HSOP. Show off your adorable pet while helping the shelter pets awaiting their forever homes at the HSOP. Don't forget to encourage your friends and family to vote for your pet's photo. The top photos with the most votes will be featured in the 2018 HSOP calendar!
All proceeds from the photo contest will go towards our PAWS (Protection, Adoptions, Wellness, and Safety) Project. The focus of the project is to fund the much needed renovation and expansion to our shelter. This will not only promote the health and adoption of our animals but create a safer environment for employees, volunteers, and the public. This project encompasses an addition and renovation to the shelter that will give us separate intake and adoption areas, add separate housing areas for our cats and small dogs so they no longer have to share an area, create an isolation room, provide an area for stray dogs, build indoor/outdoor kennels for our big dogs, and other needed updates and improvements.
Enter and vote as often as you'd like between July 26 & September 15, 2017. Each photo entry is $5 and every $1 vote cast is a $1 donation to the HSOP PAWS Project. Voting requires a minimum donation of $5 (for 5 votes). Ask your friends, family, and co-workers to join in on the fun and help vote for your favorite photos. Keep checking this website daily to watch us get closer to our fundraising goal with every vote.

GRAND PRIZE (top vote-getter):
Your beloved pet will be featured on the CALENDAR COVER of the HSOP's 2018 calendar. Your pet's photo will
also be featured on the month of your choice within the HSOP'S 2018 Calendar.
2nd through 12th Place Prizes (11 winners):
The 2nd through 12th photos with the most votes will have their pet featured as the main photo in one month of the calendar.
Reserve a space in the calendar to Honor your pet!
Honor a pet when you reserve a date block for their photo. Just choose one favorite photo, choose a date, and donate! Don't delay! First come, first served. Each date block is $15.
