IndyHumane’s Picture-Pawfect Photo contest is back for its second year, meaning your furry friend will have the opportunity to be featured in IndyHumane’s 2018 calendar! The theme this year is our beautiful city: Indianapolis! Each month will feature a beautiful photo of a local pet visiting one of many exciting landmarks around Indy.
How does your pet get their chance at stardom? It’s easy! Just enter your pet’s photo into one of two categories (Darling Dog or Fabulous Feline), and the photo that receives the most votes in its respective category will be featured on a month of the 2018 calendar. The contest opens for entries and votes at 8am on Friday, June 30 and closes at 12pm on Friday, July 28. Votes are $1 each (a $5 minimum donation is suggested) and you can vote as often as you would like. You will also have the opportunity to pre-order your very own calendar for $15.
There are plenty of benefits to participating (for example, all proceeds from entry fees and voting are tax-deductible), but the most important thing to remember is that every dollar spent, whether on voting, entering, or ordering a calendar, will be used to help us care for all of the homeless cats and dogs who enter our doors at IndyHumane.
