Bastian

A little about my pet...
This is Bastian. He was my service dog. He died suddenly on August 13th just 9 days shy of his 10th birthday.. We had no idea he was sick. He was running and playing the night before. I woke up at 4am and by 5am he was put to sleep in my arms, his spleen ruptured from a tumor. It was the worst day of my life. He was everything to me. He was my whole world, the child I never was able to have. He was my seizure service dog. One night my husband's dog had a seizure the middle of the night when we were asleep. Bastian came and woke us up to alert us about his sister. He was never trained to do that with anyone but me. He was the most gentle soul, sweet and smart without a mean bone in his body. He loved everyone and he loved doing everything and anything we did. He loved swimming in lakes, putting his head under water to find rocks, playing fetch and snuggles. He will be greatly missed forever. I hope I will one day see his smiling face again.
