Your Dog's Story or Bio
Elli joined our family in 2007 when we rescued her from MHWR. We went to a meet and greet expecting to come home with a large, male weim. She stole our hearts as we saw her cowering in the corner, tiny and frail.
Since then, she has become our ultimate adventure companion. She has traveled across the country several times and has hiked mountains from Virginia to Maine and from New Jersey to Wyoming.
Since moving back to Colorado, we saw Otis' picture online and we knew we had to meet him. Otis has been the most excellent companion for Elli (and for us too!). They spend their time together at the dog park, going for walks around Colorado Springs, and of course, going on more adventures.
We love our "fur babies", and we couldn't imagine life without them!
