Your Pet's Rescue Story
Hi! My name is Captain Holt (Holt for short). I was born in Indiana and a nice old couple bought me and my brother and took us on an adventure across the country in an RV! It was pretty fun going new places and having lots of adventures. After a year on the road though the RV was starting to feel a LOT smaller and my brother and I were getting a LOT bigger and a LOT more energetic and a little too much for the nice old couple to handle. That’s when we made it to Florida and they decided it would be best for me and my brother to have new homes. Lucky for me, the nice people at K9 Services German Shepherd Rescue in Green Cove Springs, FL were able to take us in. The rescue was fun and we got to play my favorite game fetch everyday!! My brother and I were not behaving so nicely together so we decided we would probably like separate homes. After being there a few months, my new family came to meet me! My new mom and dad were sad because they lost their first German Shepherd and I just knew I could make them feel happy again! I said goodbye to the rescue and headed with them to Orlando to meet my new fur brothers and sister and they were so much fun! I even got to go on a trip to Quantum Leap my first weekend and met all the cool people there! Now I spend most of my days going on lots of walks and runs, playing as much fetch as I can, wading in the pool, eating plenty of treats and pestering my fur siblings. My mom and dad say they are so lucky I picked them because I make them so happy. Life has sure been a wild ride so far, and this traveling boy is happy to be HOME!
