Your Pet's Rescue Story
We found Sanford on the side of the road on New Years Day 2022 in Sanford, FL. After 30 days of searching for his family with no luck, we because his forever family. Sanford was emaciated and had some scars, but after lots of TLC he overcame his medical issues and grew into his big personality. “Sandy’s” favorite treats are blueberries, his favorite toys are ropes and he’s always down for a good midday couch nap. We are still working on his socialization, but he is leader of the pack at dog training! We had another small dog when we found Sandy. Around the time we brought him into our home, she was diagnosed with lymphoma. She passed a few weeks later. We were absolutely heartbroken, but Sandy was integral in our healing. He made sure to get us outside and to make us laugh even when it hurt to. We are constantly having new adventures with Sandy and learning more about him. Just this week he learned that he likes to swim and his new favorite hobby is chasing birds! We’re excited for all the adventures to come and look forward to giving Sandy a full life with unlimited blueberries, top quality rope toys and cozy naps with the sweetest dreams!
