Your Pet's Rescue Story
One year ago, Dog A167543 was kenneled with his siblings at Orange County Animal Services. They had been found running wild in a pack on the streets. We adopted him in July 2022, taught him how to live in a house and named him after the great Buffalo Bills’ defense end Bruce Smith. True to his roots, our Bruce Smith is still a street dog at heart, enjoying drinks of puddle water and snacks from the trash. But in the past year he has learned how to pick up his toys, walk nicely on a leash, ride in a car, and snuggle with his humans. He sleeps in a bed and takes rides in the golf cart up to the Sanford dog park. He will produce a major head tilt if he hears “chicken” (pictured here in his contest photo). He has come a long way and has become the best Bruce!
